8月1日，据吉利官方宣布，吉利控股集团旗下Terrafugia飞行汽车公司预计于今年10月开始第一代产品Transition的预定工作，将于明年发布，前期主要针对美国市场。据了解，该飞行汽车最高飞行时速为161km/h，最大飞行高度为3048m，可实现空中续航640km，每小时约消耗19L航油。

It is understood that the highest flying speed of the vehicle is 161 km/h, the maximum flying altitude is 3048 m, can achieve air range 640 km, about 19 L fuel consumption per hour.　

据悉，该公司对汽车内饰、安全系统、发动机以及飞行仪表进行了进一步的升级更新，具体包括混合动力引擎强化、座椅升级、更大的行李箱，和经过改进的安全带、安全气囊、后视摄像头、全新跳伞系统以及加速模式。并且，该车配备的混合动力引擎由传统的内燃机和锂磷酸盐化学电池组成，其安全性远高于普通的锂电池。

It is reported that the company has further upgraded the car interior, safety system, engine and flight instruments, including the hybrid engine reinforcement, the seat upgrade, the larger luggage, and the improved safety belt, airbag, rear view camera, new parachute system, and acceleration mode. Terrafugia创立于2006年，由5名麻省理工学院毕业者创立，在去年11月，浙江吉利控制集团有限公司与该公司达成最终协议，收购了Terrafugia公司的全部业务和资产，因此该品牌到了吉利旗下。
