Terrafugia在2017年被浙江吉利全资收购，Terrafugia由5个美国麻省理工大学的毕业生于2006年创立。2009年，他们发布了第一款飞行汽车Transition，并于3年后发布了Transition的迭代版本车型，实现空中续航640公里，最高时速160公里/小时、机翼可折叠、可自动飞行等。

Terrafugia was wholly-owned by Geely in Zhejiang in 2017. Terrafugia was founded by 5 MIT graduates in 2006. In 2009, they released the first flight car, Transition, and released an iterative version of Transition 3 years later to achieve a 640 km of air, a maximum speed of 160 km / h, a wing folding, and an automatic flight.

据Terrafugia公司官方消息，其两座飞行汽车将在明年投产。即将用于生产的版本在动力、加速、内饰、安全性和空中配套方面进行了全方位地升级，包括混动引擎（磷酸铁锂电池）、飞行加速、更舒适地乘坐体验和更大的行李空间、安全带/气囊/三后视摄像头成像效果改进以及引入了Dynon的飞行信息系统和BRS公司的降落伞系统。Terrafugia称，这些调整旨在同时满足FAA适航和NHTSA的上路认证。

According to official Terrafugia, two of its flying cars will be put into operation next year. The forthcoming versions of the production are fully upgraded in power, acceleration, interior, safety, and air matching, including the mixing engine (lithium iron phosphate battery), flight acceleration, more comfortable ride experience and greater luggage space, safety belt / air bag / three rear view camera imaging improvements and the introduction of Dyn On's flight information system and BRS's parachute system. Terrafugia said these adjustments aim to meet FAA airworthiness and NHTSA's road certification.
