Cora, a flying car project from Kitty Hawk, a startup, has recently received a huge boost with significant funding from Larry Page, co-founder of Google. The project is progressing quite rapidly and several test flights were launched in New Zealand in early 2018.
Kitty Hawk aims to enter the field of flying car projects and compete directly with potential competitors such as Airbus and Uber in development. Cora is equipped with no less than 12 lifting fans to provide vertical takeoff and landing capabilities for flying vehicles. These are all electric and can be operated independently.
