　　据底特律当地媒体报道，飞机是在成功完成了前两次测试后，在第三次测试的起飞过程中坠落的，坠落地点位于密歇根洲的Willow Run机场，坠落前的飞行高度未知。坠毁车辆是底特律飞行汽车公司研发的WD-1型飞行汽车，采用碳纤结构，翼展在飞行状态下接近8米（26英尺），整备质量仅为680kg。

　　该款飞行汽车在陆地行驶和飞行状态下采用不同的驱动方式。陆地行驶时该车由一台功率为40千瓦（54马力）的电动机驱动，纯电行驶续航约为80公里，一台排量未知的发动机作为增程器可将续航里程扩展至644公里；而在飞行状态下该车由发动机驱动，最大功率约101马力，续航里程为644公里，可乘坐两人。

We've previously reported that a number of companies are promoting technology related to flying cars, including Terra Fugia, which is owned by Geely. The flying car uses different driving modes in land driving and flying conditions. When driving on land, the vehicle is driven by an electric motor with a power of 40 kilowatts (54 horsepower). It runs about 80 kilometers by pure electricity. An engine with unknown displacement can be used as an extender to extend the range to 644 kilometers. In flight, the vehicle is driven by an engine with a maximum power of 101 horsepower and a range of 644 kilometers, and can ride two people.
