飞行汽车Transition预计2019年正式销售，并不在中国首发，因为大陆还未允许飞行汽车合法上路，而会在美国优先上市。

飞行汽车可乘载2人，飞行速度为每小时100英里（161公里），最高速可达185公里，最大飞行高度为1万英尺（3048公尺）。

飞行汽车Transition的机翼会在40秒内就能完全伸展，而且仅需30公尺长度的跑道就能够飞上天空，；机翼可摺叠收起，车体与SUV车相当，方便停进家用车库。

被吉利汽车收购后，Terrafugia在产品动力、加速、内饰、安全性和空中配套方面进行了全方位地升级，包括混动引擎（磷酸铁锂电池）、飞行加速、后视成像等，并且引入了 Dynon 的飞行资讯系统和 BRS 公司的降落伞系统，必要时有自备降落伞安全落地。

波音成立飞行汽车研发部门

据国外媒体报道，美国飞机制造商波音公司刚刚宣布在公司内部成立了一个新部门，来专门应对当下大热的自动驾驶飞行汽车市场。波音公司的下一步计划是与外部第三方公司合作，寻求建造无人驾驶飞行汽车产品，并解决空中交通管制问题，帮助地面基础设施的建设。

Geely, China's Terrafugia Flying Automobile Company, announced that the first mass-produced flying cars are expected to be officially launched in 2019, with a maximum speed of 185 kilometers per hour and a maximum flying altitude of 10,000 feet (3,048 meters).

Boeing set up flying vehicle R & D department

According to foreign media reports, American aircraft manufacturer Boeing has just announced the establishment of a new department within the company to deal with the current hot autopilot flying car market. Boeing's next step is to work with outside third-party companies to find ways to build unmanned flying vehicles, solve air traffic control problems and help build ground infrastructure.

Boeing's chief technology officer, Greg Hyslop, said Tuesday at the Farnborough International Air Show that the company has the safest and most effective technology to ensure the smooth development of new technologies. "The development of these aircraft, in the next few years will make significant progress, transportation must be multi-mode development at the same time." Hyslop says. "Our idea is that if there is an emerging area, then we have to create a dedicated department to address the problems that arise in this market."

The aviation giant also announced that it had established a new partnership with artificial intelligence company Spark Cogniton. Boeing said the partnership would use block chain technology and artificial intelligence technology to develop an air traffic management system that can track UAV routes in the air and automatically distribute traffic routes and channels.

Amir Husain, founder and CEO of Spark Cognition, said in a statement that urban air transport has a potential market of $3 trillion, representing the largest "new market" we can see.
