但基于它能开又能飞的特性,所以如果你想要操纵Transition,不仅需要汽车驾照,还需要飞行执照!在路面上行走,机翼将折叠起来,整车宽度跟传统汽车差不多;准备起飞时,机翼将伸展开来,直接转化成飞行模式;

English version

Unexpectedly, the first flying car was launched so quickly and realized mass production. Geely Holdings Group reported Aug. 1 that Terrafugi Flying Vehicle is expected to begin reservations for the first generation Transition in October this year, and released details of the two Flying Vehicles Transition <. Coming out in 2019, yes, you are not mistaken, that is, a flying car! Instead of running on the road or swimming in the water, instead of flying into the blue sky, it has wings. But the first batch of users will mainly focus on the US market.

The product includes hybrid engines, stronger propulsion systems, upgraded interiors and safety systems, and will work with leading avionics and parachute suppliers. The flying car, called Transition, has a pair of folding wings and weighs about 1,300 pounds. It can run on the road and fly to the sky. Two passengers are allowed to fly at a maximum altitude of 10,000 feet (3048 meters) and a maximum speed of 160 kilometers per hour. The maximum flying speed is 640 kilometers per hour. It burns 19 L of fuel per hour. The fuel consumption of 100 kilometers is about 11.87 L, which is equivalent to only 2.0 T vehicles.

But because it can drive and fly, if you want to operate the Transition, you need not only a driver's license, but also a flight license! When you walk on the road, the wings fold up and the width of the vehicle is about the same as that of a conventional car; when you are ready to take off, the wings will be stretched out and converted directly into flight mode.

Flying across the sky is nothing! Like ordinary cars, it uses a circular steering wheel; the unleaded gasoline engine used by Transition can fill up at any gas station.

In addition, the flying car is equipped with a full range of land and sky travel safety programs! Electronic flight information system, a full set of parachute systems, airbags, reversing rear view, and so on.

Japan formed a consortium to do research on flying cars

The Japanese government hopes to play a decisive role in the future of flying automobiles, especially in the areas of legislation and regulation. To achieve this, Japanese government departments have formed a consortium of 21 public and private entities, including Uber, Boeing, Airbus, Japan Airlines, ANA Holdings, Yamato Holdings, Japan's largest express service company, and Toyota. Supported start-ups such as Cartivator. The consortium hopes to promote the commercialization of flying cars in the next 10 years.

Today, the consortium held its first plenary meeting to begin planning the road to success. According to industry analysts, the Japanese government has lagged behind the US and China in the technology of autopilot, so it is eager to "promote legislation and infrastructure construction to help win leadership" and become an example for other countries. More practical concerns include the fact that flying cars can relieve Japan's increasingly congested domestic traffic. Considering the mountainous island terrain and the nature of multiple geological disasters in Japan, flying cars will improve government relief and evacuation efforts and promote tourism.
