由5名麻省理工学院毕业者创立的Terrafugia是美国一家专注飞行汽车研发的高科技公司。早在2017年8月，吉利控股集团就完成了针对Terrafugia的收购。今年8月1日，吉利官方宣布旗下Terrafugia飞行汽车公司预计于今年10月开始第一代产品Transition飞行汽车的预定，产品具体发布时间被预定在明年，前期主要针对美国市场。

据了解，该飞行汽车有折叠机翼，采用固定起落架，载员2人（包含驾驶员在内），巡航速度为160公里/小时，最大飞行高度为3048m，可实现空中续航640km，最大飞行高度为10000英尺（约合3048米），每小时约消耗19L航油。
