有媒体报道称，浙江吉利汽车有限公司旗下子公司Terrafugia太力飞行汽车近日公布了其两座飞行汽车Transition量产车型的产品细节。

2009年Terrafugia发布第一款飞行汽车Transition，并于2012年升级迭代。Transition有折叠机翼，重约1300磅，采用固定起落架，载员2人(包含驾驶员在内)，巡航速度为160公里/小时，续航里程为640公里，最大飞行高度为10000英尺(约合3048米)。

In 2009, Terrafugia released the first Transition of the flying car and upgraded it in 2012. Transition has a folded wing with a weight of about 1300 pounds, a fixed landing gear, 2 passengers (including the driver), a cruise speed of 160 km / h, a 640 km distance of 10000 feet (about 3048 meters).

此外，Transition还搭配了安全气囊、预紧式安全带、碰撞溃缩区等一系列汽车的主、被动安全装置，还有紧急时刻可供车辆安全着陆的降落伞。

In addition, Transition also matches the main and passive safety devices of a series of cars, such as airbag, Pretight seat belt, collision and collapse area, and parachute for safety landing of vehicles in a time of emergency.

吉利控股集团对Terrafugia的收购启动于2016年，彼时曾有消息称，因飞行汽车属于尖端科技，吉利收购Terrafugia不但需要美国联邦航空管理局的同意，还需要通过美国国防部的审查。

The takeover of Terrafugia was started in 2016 by the Geely Holding Group. At that time, it was said that because the flying car was a sophisticated technology, Geely's acquisition of Terrafugia needed not only the Federal Aviation Administration's consent, but also the US Department of Defense Review.

2017年8月，吉利收购Terrafugia的计划获得了美方的批准。同年11月，吉利集团完成了对该公司的全资收购。此前，吉利方面曾表示，Terrafugia公司的研发试制工作将保留在美国，生产或将放在中国。
