Terrafugia, founded in 2006 by MIT graduates, is currently developing two interesting flying car projects. The first project is called Transition, and the founder of Terrafugia believes it will be the first practical flying car in the world. The second sexier project is TF-X. Terrafugia intends to mass-produce this model to completely change the personal transport sector forever.

TF-X was developed from scratch. As an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing vehicle, the computer controls the whole flying vehicle.
