I've been in a flying car, and my partner has been in a flying car. My 10-year-old son hasn't, but he wants to. Obviously, security is our top concern, and we have been working closely with regulators. Currently, Flyer operates only 10 feet above the surface to ensure that in absolute worst case scenarios, passengers of flying cars can land on water. But as the technology matures, it should be safer than existing small aircraft. That's because the propulsion system of a flying car uses many different independent motors and propellers: if one of them breaks down, it's no big deal.
