飞行汽车已经不是痴人说梦，如吉利集团并购了美国TERRAFUGIA，而奥迪与现代也宣布将进军飞行汽车领域，当然还有MOLLER Skycar等等，重点是不但需要飞行驾照，而且可能售价也不便宜，听起来都是有钱人的大玩具啊！根据最新消息指出，已经获得谷歌联合创办人拉里佩奇支持的这家美国新创公司OPENER，已经宣布将推出无须飞行驾照就可以满足个人出行需求的飞行汽车BlackFly。

根据OPENER表示，BlackFly可搭载一名乘客，也就是具备1+1人座的机能，而且更强调其最终成本可能还跟一辆SUV成本相差无几），与直升机或私人飞机相较，运作起来更安静、更安全、更容易上手，而且也更便宜。

目前OPENER BlackFly飞行汽车已经在美加境内都完成试飞，且已经在加拿大境内以对地时速116km/h飞行超过64km的距离，而OPENER BlackFly飞行汽车目前在美国被归类为轻航机，所以无须飞行驾照也可合法使用，但依照目前美国的法规，飞行汽车依旧仅能于郊区使用，但随着愈来愈多业者投入，或许未来也可以像自动驾驶汽车一样，采用率先试点或部分区域开放的方式来让更多人可以圆梦。
