如同近几年兴起的小型无人机一样，如何对飞行器进行更好的管理，在不影响公共安全的前提下，尽可能让飞行器获得更多飞行空间，这一直是一个争议中的问题。对飞行汽车来说，这一与固定翼飞机、直升机、无人机都有些相似却又完全不同的“新物种”来说，如何对其进行更好的监管，达到保证安全又能让其展现在交通运输方面的潜力，这又将开启一段的新的争论。
