Terrafugia在2017年被浙江吉利全资收购，前者由5个美国麻省理工大学的毕业生于2006年创立。2009年，他们发布了第一款飞行汽车Transition，并于3年后发布了Transition的迭代版本车型，实现空中续航640公里，最高时速160公里/小时、机翼可折叠、可自动飞行等。

量产版本在动力、加速、内饰、安全性和空中配套方面进行了全方位地升级，包括混动引擎（磷酸铁锂电池）、飞行加速、更舒适地乘坐体验和更大的行李空间、安全带/气囊/三后视摄像头成像效果改进以及引入了Dynon的飞行信息系统和BRS公司的降落伞系统。首批用户对美国开放，中国市场将视情况而定。

Geely's world's first mass production flying car will be on sale next month.

Terrafugia CEO Chris Jaran revealed in his first public speech in China recently that the world's first mass-produced flying car Transition will be on sale in October and the next generation concept TF-2 will be officially announced in the same month.

Terrafugia was acquired wholly by Zhejiang Geely in 2017, founded by five MIT graduates in 2006. In 2009, they unveiled the first flying vehicle Transition, and three years later, they unveiled an iterated version of the Transition, with an air range of 640 kilometers, a maximum speed of 160 kilometers per hour, foldable wings, and automatic flight.

The mass-produced version offers a full range of upgrades in power, acceleration, interior, safety and air support, including hybrid engines (lithium iron phosphate batteries), flight acceleration, a more comfortable ride experience and larger luggage space, improved seatbelt/airbag/three-view camera imaging, and the introduction of Dynon's flight letter Interest system and BRS company's parachute system. The first batch of users will be open to the United States, and the Chinese market will depend on the circumstances.
