吉利集团在武汉设立湖北吉利太力飞车有限公司，年产100架飞行汽车（零部件），仅为飞行汽车的外壳。主要生产工序为飞行汽车（零部件）的复材零件制造、部件装配、零部件总装集成、车身喷漆等，不包括仪表安装、线缆盘箱、试车等内容，预计将于明年11月正式投产。新车车长在6.6m-7m左右，车高为2m，翼展在8.2m左右。

2009年就推出了第一款飞行汽车——Transition，并于2012年发布了Transition的迭代版本车型。Transition有两个座位，空中续航为640公里，最高时速为160公里/时。机翼可折叠，以减少在陆地的占地面积，支持自动飞行的功能。

按规划，吉利今年量产与交付首款商用化的飞行汽车——Transition，这款车目前已在美国开启预售，价值200多万人民币。太力公司的研发与试制工作将继续在美国完成，生产制造拟扎根中国。据了解，2025 年，全球首台垂直起降的飞行汽车将实现量产。
