劳斯莱斯做飞行汽车一点也不奇怪，以为它本身就是一家优秀的发动机制造商，空客飞机部分型号用的就是劳斯莱斯的发动机。2018年7月份，劳斯莱斯在Twitter上发布了“飞行出租车”开发项目，随后在范堡罗国际航空航天展览会上展示了 “飞行出租车”的概念车EVTOL，至于推出时间，劳斯莱斯并没有明确说明。

EVTOL使用燃气轮机技术发电，不需要充电，搭载4-5人，最高时速可达400公里/时，续航里程超过500英里（805公里）。EVTOL在达到一定巡航高度后，机翼上的螺旋桨就会折叠起来，以减少阻力和机舱噪音。随后，由两个后螺旋桨将为飞行汽车提供推进力。虽然买不起莱斯莱斯，但是日后打车可以打个劳斯莱斯。
