研发方式

各车企研发飞行汽车的方式也分为三种，一是投资收购，比如吉利，丰田，戴姆勒都投资了自己看好的创企，以此加入飞行汽车的行列；二是自主研发，像阿斯顿马丁，劳斯莱斯就自己开启了飞行汽车的研发，不过，他们也并非单打独斗，阿斯顿就选择了克兰菲尔德大学和劳斯莱斯（注意：此劳斯莱斯为同名飞行器制造商，非车企劳斯莱斯）合作研发；三是抱老玩家大腿，比如奥迪，直接让空客带着它飞。

商业规划

各家飞行汽车的定位一般分两种，一是私人交通工具，二是飞行的士，各家定位在车东西统计的玩家列表中均有列出，不过劳斯莱斯则表示可提供个人、的士和运输等多种服务；客户群体也分两种，吉利Terrafugia飞行汽车只能有飞行执照的客户订购，而Cartivator skyDrive则不需要飞行执照。各玩家虽定位不同，都旨在通过飞行汽车改变出行方式，打造一个全新的交通体系。

There are also three ways for automobile companies to develop flying cars. One is to invest in acquisitions, such as Geely, Toyota and Daimler, to join the ranks of flying cars. The other is to develop flying cars independently. Like Aston Martin, Rolls-Royce started their own research and development of flying cars, but they did not. Instead of fighting alone, Aston chose Cranfield University to cooperate with Rolls-Royce (note: Rolls-Royce is an aircraft manufacturer of the same name, not a car manufacturer); and third, holding the thighs of veteran players, such as Audi, to let Airbus fly with it directly.

There are two kinds of orientations for each flying car: one is private transportation, the other is flying taxis, which are listed in the list of players in the vehicle statistics, but Rolls-Royce says that it can provide personal, taxi and transportation services; the customer groups are also divided into two kinds, Geely Terrafugia flying car can only have one. Flight licences are ordered by customers, while Cartivator skyDrive does not require a flight licence. Although different players have different orientations, they all aim to change the way of travel through flying cars and create a new transportation system.
