Terrafugia is a company founded in the United States in 2006. Geely Holding Group of China launched its acquisition plan for Terrafugia in 2016, which was approved by the United States in August 2017. In November of the same year, Geely and Terrafugia formally signed the acquisition agreement with the relevant regulatory bodies, including the CFIUS.
