Geely Terrafugia flying car - scheduled for October, mass production is coming soon
Terrafugia was founded in 2006 by five MIT graduates, headquartered in the United States, with the goal of changing travel patterns and creating flying cars. In November 17, 2017, Terrafugia was bought by Zhejiang Geely Holding Group and became a subsidiary of Geely.

The Terrafugia flying car can travel either on land or in the air. Its wings can be folded when landing, enabling it to park in the garage. It uses a hybrid system with two quasi-passengers, a maximum flight speed of 100 miles per hour (161 kilometers) and a maximum flight altitude of 10,000 feet (3048 meters). Terrafugia Flying Vehicle is a legitimate aircraft that requires a flight licence to purchase. It will be scheduled for October this year and is expected to be mass produced in 2019. But its positioning is private market, which means that taking Terrafugia to work will be the exclusive right of a few people.
