According to foreign media reports, the South Korean government recently said it would relax the legal restrictions on package transportation and taxi service for UAVs, and join the global competition, so as to maintain competitiveness in the fast-growing UAV market. According to different stages of UAV technology and industry development, the Korean government has revised 35 relevant laws and regulations. The government will first develop and establish a UAV traffic control system, which will act as a traffic light for the UAV in the air. At that time, the UAV will be divided according to the route, and the airport will use interference equipment to prevent illegal UAV flight.

The South Korean government will also establish the UAV delivery service standard in 2020 and the UAV infrastructure establishment standard before 2023, and realize the commercialization of UAV delivery service by 2025. At present, multinational companies such as Google, DHL and China's Alibaba have announced that they will soon launch the UAV package transportation service in South Korea.

The South Korean government's next goal is to establish regulations for autonomous flying vehicles by 2023. Self driving flying cars are larger and can carry passengers and goods at airports. According to the plan, self driving flying taxis and ambulances will be put into use around 2030. Uber, an American car Hailing company, has announced that it will launch a pilot service using flying cars in Melbourne, Australia, in 2020, and is expected to commercialize the service in 2023. It is reported that Uber's flying car can accommodate up to four people and can fly 241 kilometers per hour.(文编译/ 飞行汽车  www.feiauto.com
